Over the years that I have been an occupational therapist, I have had experience working with a broad range of disabilities, ages in private and public school programs. I have a specific interest and knowledge base in the area of language-based learning disabilities as I myself was diagnosed with dyslexia at the age of 7, but I am passionate about addressing and overcoming the challenges that present in each child’s unique makeup. I believe that by being a part of this progressive team at Out of Box Accessibility Solutions I can help children to build the foundation needed for a successful and happy life through high and low tech solutions.

During my tenure as a speech-language pathologist, I have had the pleasure of working with families and children with a wide range of disabilities from ages birth to 22. During the past decade, I have worked at schools for children with severe special needs as well as those where children were integrated into the general education setting and have seen the positive effect of assistive technology on their educations. Although I enjoy working with all children, I have a passion for helping children with disabilities develop communication skills and use them effectively. The field of assistive technology allows me to blend my current skills as a speech pathologist with a previous career as a software developer. I am excited to join the team at Out of the Box Accessibility Solutions and look forward to working together to help children reach their highest potential.
